Teaching interests:
I teach German language at all levels, as well as a wide range of topics courses on
German literature and culture in the modern era.

Research interests:
My research examines the intersections of mobility, social change, and artistic
expression. Specific topics of interest include the history of the railway, public transit,
and Holocaust deportation.
